Teen use of e-cigarettes is growing massively and health authorities are worried. Almost 5 million American middle and high school students now use tobacco in some form—a shocking 36 percent rise over just one year — and the increase was entirely due to teens starting to use e-cigarettes. The Centers for Disease Control warn: “The skyrocketing growth of young people’s e-cigarette use over the past year threatens to erase progress made in reducing youth tobacco use. It’s putting a new generation at risk for nicotine addiction.”
