Roksana Ghasemzadeh, MD, received her medical degree from the renowned University of Pisa in Italy, one of the oldest medical schools in the world. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Prince Georges Hospital in Maryland and has been in practice for 15 years. In addition to being Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Ghasemzadeh has extensive Emergency Medicine experience.


Carissa Dear, FNP, received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing from Georgetown University. She is a Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over ten years’ experience as a Registered Nurse and then as a Nurse Practitioner in Northern Virginia hospitals and family practice facilities.


Falls Church, VA

Dinara Yambulatova, MPAS, PA-C, graduated from the Physician Assistant program at James Madison University in Harrisonburg. She has practiced as a Medical Assistant, and then as a certified Physician Assistant in various Virginia locations for several years.  Before coming to America, Dinara was trained at the Tashkent Medical Academy, where she received her medical degree; during the 1990s, she served as a physician in hospitals in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.

He has over four decades experience as an internist, including many years at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Martinsburg WV. He speaks various languages, including English, Russian, Persian, and Pashto.

Shadi Ayyas, MD, received his Bachelor’s degree from the American University of Beirut, attended Saint Mary’s School of Medicine in New Zealand, and completed post-graduate training in Internal Medicine at Riverside Methodist Hospital and at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Dr. Ayyas has 17 years’ experience in hospitals and medical centers, including six years serving U.S. diplomatic and military personnel as Medical Director for Internal Medicine, General Practice, and Urgent Care at the American Gulf Medical Center in Abu Dhabi, UAE. He speaks Spanish, Arabic, and Italian.


Washington DC (Dupont Circle)

Ashlyn Williams, PA-C, graduated from Christopher Newport University and received her Masters of Physician Assistant degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. Before medical school, she served as an Emergency Medical Technician with Isle of Wight Rescue Squad in Virginia. Ashlyn is also a well-known blogger on beauty and fashion.


Melissa Rudawski
, PA-C,
graduated from the University of Maryland and received her Masters of Physician Assistant degree from the State University of New York Upstate Medical University. Between college and med school, Melissa served two years as an Emergency Medical Technician with the Ramapo Valley Ambulance Corps in New York State.

Khurram Rashid, MD, completed his Internship in General Surgery at Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn and his Residency at the New York Medical College. He is the founder and Medical Director of Medics USA. A well-known lecturer and instructor, Dr. Rashid is also a Civil Surgeon, certified by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service to conduct immigration physicals.
