Roksana Ghasemzadeh, MD, received her medical degree from the renowned University of Pisa in Italy, one of the oldest medical schools in the world. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Prince Georges Hospital in Maryland and has been in practice for 15 years. In addition to being Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Ghasemzadeh has extensive Emergency Medicine experience. She is fluent in Farsi.

Khodaidad Basharmal, MD, completed his residency in internal medicine at Wright State University School of Medicine in Ohio. He has over four decades experience as an internist, including many years at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Martinsburg WV. He speaks various languages, including English, Russian, Farsi, and Pashto.

John Spargo, FNP, is a Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. After a BS in Biology from Albright College in Pennsylvania, John received his nursing degree from George Mason University and graduated as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Marymount University in Arlington. As an RN and then an FNP, he has amassed over a dozen years’ experience in hospitals and private practice in Northern Virginia and Texas.

Azin Raouf, FNP, is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. For over a decade, she practiced as a Registered Nurse in hospitals in Maine and Northern Virginia. In 2016, Azin received her Master’s in Family Nurse Practice from St. Joseph’s College of Maine. She is fluent in Farsi.

Khurram Rashid, MD, completed his Internship in General Surgery at Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn and his Residency at the New York Medical College. He is the founder and Medical Director of Medics USA. A well-known lecturer and instructor, Dr. Rashid is also a Civil Surgeon, certified by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service to conduct immigration physicals.

Erdenesuren Jambal, FNP, is a Family Nurse Practitioner trained at Georgetown University. Before her FNP certification, Erika spent 6 years as an RN in DC and Northern Virginia, and for 4 years she was an Instructor in the Certified Nurse Aide program at Columbia College in Fairfax VA.


Kelly E. Harley, FNP, has been a Registered Nurse since 2013, gaining wide experience at hospitals in Florida and DC. She graduated Cum Laude from George Washington University as a Nurse Practitioner with specialties in Internal Medicine and Family Practice. Kelly is skilled in caring for back pain complaints and managing Type 2 diabetes. She grew up in Florida and now lives in the District; she loves to fish and helps rescue Jack Russell terriers.
